GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Family Planning Programme - Grant of special cassual leave to a male Government servant whose wife undergoes a non - puperal tubectomy operation under the Family Planning Programme - Orders - Issued. From the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Planning Department of Family Planning, NewDelhi, letter No. 27-3/72-Estt. (b) dated the 18th September 1971. 2. From the Director of Medical & Health Services, letter No. 164694/T1/71, Dated 6th December 1971. ORDER : The Government of India in their letter 1st read above have decided that a regular non industrial Central Government male employee whose wife undergoes tubectomy operation is granted 7 days speciaal casual leave subject to condition that a certificate from the Doctor who performs the operation is produced and requested all the State Governements to issue similar instructions on the subject. The Government accordingly direct that the State Government male employee whose wife undergoes non-purpered tubectomy operation shall be granted special casual leave for 7 days subject to the production of Medical certificates from the Doctor who performs the operation to the effect that the presence of the Governement servant is essential for the period of leave to look after the wife during her convalescence after operation. 2. The above orders will not, however, be made applicable to the past cases which have been decided other wise. 3.
